El Rastro de Madrid is the iconic street market that takes place on Sundays in the traditional La Latina neighborhood.
With over 300 years of history, it has been a meeting place for the buying, selling and trading of all kinds of items.
Its name comes from its proximity to the slaughterhouse (the now-defunct Cerrillo slaughterhouse), where dead cattle left a trail of blood running down Rivera de Curtidores street. This is the origin of the traditional tripe tapas.
El Rastro has more than 1000 stalls and divides its types of products by zones: Antiques in Plaza General Vara del Rey, collectibles and gifts in Rivera de Curtidores or clothing in Plaza de Cascorro, the heart of the market, where our stall is located.
El Rastro is a philosophy, a way of being and of living in the city that transcends fashions and the passage of time.
It is a symbol of Madrid, where all kinds of lifestyles have passed through and continue to exist, such as gypsy culture or the movida madrileña. They have all found a way of life in this beautiful market.
It is said that everything we can imagine, absolutely everything, if it does not appear one day in El Rastro, it does not exist.
Doberman Madrid ⭐️
And so we appeared, in this beautiful market,
Doberman Madrid was born from a generational tradition, it passed into our hands in a family way, as it has always been done in the Rastro, but we wanted to give the concept a twist.
We have been operating with a young and innovative perspective since 2017. Learning and changing what surrounds us, always respecting the traditional and authentic values that have always been with us.
Every Sunday we're at our stand with friends and family, sharing culture and selling our brand. A multitude of artists, models, photographers, and urban culture artists pass through our stand. Doberman is a hub of exchange, a symbol of the neo-Masculine culture that has shaped the identity of the city where we grew up.
